'Tour de Texas' - Part Two

Caleb took the girls and I to the famous Ft. Worth Zoo on Friday. We braved the 98 degrees (+ extreme humidity) and enjoyed ourselves very much, although we did spend a little longer than was absolutely necessary in the air conditioned penguin exhibit [smile!]

Yelena just hung out in the stroller, and took in the sights - all 3" of them - from underneath her hat...

Our favorite part was a goofy orangutan that was playing with a straw hat. After chewing off half the brim he tried to place it on the head of a buddy who was trying to sleep... that didn't go over too well.

Elise loved the birds...

----
Saturday morning, before getting ready for the wedding, we went Glen Rose, TX the home of approximately five dinosaur tracks. Well, five were all we found [smile!] They were under water - of all places! I would have thought the river would have worn them away....

Next time we head back to TX, we're going there again! And this time we are bringing water-walkers and swimsuits, maybe even a tube or two! To get to the second set of tracks people have to wade across the river. Most never make it, they're too busy playing in the water!

I like the last photo, of the whole family! I have followed your blog on and off the last few years.
I enjoyed the courtship story and wedding posts too. :-)

Have a blessed day in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! 1 Peter 1:4-9
